LCA2: The Next Steps Beyond the wbLCA Guidelines

The National Research Council of Canada recently released their Whole Building Life Cycle Assessment Guidelines (wbLCA) under the Low Carbon Assets through Life Cycle Assessment initiative (LCA)^2. The guidelines provide comprehensive instructions for the practice of LCA for buildings, enable calculations of reliable baselines, support LCA-based compliance in green building programs and policy, and assist in the development and use of wbLCA software. This session will explore the potential to implement the next steps beyond the guidelines to accelerate low carbon efforts across the built environment.
