Qatar Foundation Fundamental Science Building
Elementa are working closely with global architecture and design firm Perkins+Will on the Qatar Foundation’s new 48,600m2 Fundamental Science Building at Education City in Doha, Qatar.
The Qatar Foundation for Education, Science and Community Development is a private, non-profit organization that serves the people of Qatar by supporting and operating programs in three core mission areas: education, science and research, and community development. http://www.qf.org.qa/
Elementa’s commission includes the development of sustainable solutions for the Masterplan and Infrastructure design for the 75 acre Research and Development Complex site as well as the Environmental Design and MEP services for the new Fundamental Science Building.
The facility will enable scientists to push the boundaries of science and the understanding, prediction, design, control, and manipulation of materials at different scales. These advancements in science will be focused in biomedical research, energy sciences, and environmental sciences.
