Capilano University | The Luminous Project
The Luminous Project is a permanent lighting installation that illuminates Capilano University’s main campus hub, the Birch Building.
This project was created to celebrate the university’s 50th anniversary, unveiling the light installation at CapFest, the university’s 50th-anniversary celebration event.
Introba (formerly Integral Group) provided lighting design and light art consulting services for the project designing the overall concept for lighting the southern and western facades of the Birch Building and creating the artistic concepts to illuminate the building in dynamic lighting that celebrates various communities’ holidays, campus events, and seasons.
Using the colors of the university’s logo in different combinations and pacing, The Luminous Project tells the story of Capilano University—its history and brand essence—through the power of light.
