Susan Wakil Health Building
The University of Sydney’s Susan Wakil Health Building brings multiple health disciplines together to translate research into education and clinical services.
Using the Universities own sustainability framework, the team exceeded the initial sustainability targets, incorporating key sustainability features such as a 50KL rainwater tank, improved energy performance by 33.9% (in comparison to a reference building), all timber used on the project was either reused, post-consumer recycled, or FSC-certified or PEFC-certified timber and 91% of waste was diverted from landfill.
Our ICT team implemented new technologies in learning areas including lecture theatres, super-labs, climate chamber, biomedical gym and simulation lab and rooms spaces. All simulations spaces have capture and recording capabilities to allow both practice review and formal evaluation.
Integral Group completed the mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, sustainability, ICT and audio visual services.
