McMaster Innovation Park | Life Sciences Research Facility
McMaster Innovation Park (MIP) is a research campus providing collaborative spaces for entrepreneurs, start-ups, and researchers, to help them connect and bring ideas to life. MIP assists businesses to grow by finding the customers, resources and finances they require to scale up.
The MIP expansion is an Integrated Project Delivery (IPD) project with CBH+ that will include the repurposing of the former Hamilton Spectator building at 44 Frid Street. It will be converted into a life science hub that will feature administrative spaces, a data center, and lab spaces.
Integral Group is providing MEP design and energy modelling consulting on the project which is pursuing net-zero carbon. Once the expansion is complete, the entire MIP campus will total 2.5 million square feet of facilities that will continue to support entrepreneurship and business growth.
