Recognizing the importance of integrated and sustainable design in the built environment, Niall brings a broad understanding of building envelope systems to each project. Passionate about improving building performance, Niall’s approach is rooted in the philosophy that passive and active building systems alike contribute to create exceptional, high performance buildings that suit the occupants’ needs and promote wellness and comfort.
Niall approaches each project with a high level of enthusiasm and believes in an integrated team approach to construction. An excellent team player, Niall’s exceptional communication skills mean that he can thrive as either a team member or in a leadership role on any project.
Having graduated with a degree in Civil, Structural and Environmental Engineering from Trinity College Dublin, Niall proceeded to continue his studies to PhD level at the Centre for Innovation and Sustainability in Construction at Trinity College Dublin. The title of his PhD project was “Thermo-hygrometric properties of multi-purpose historic buildings. Throughout this time, Niall educated and familiarized himself with the principles of building science, post-occupancy evaluation and conservation of historical buildings.
Since joining the firm, Niall has worked diligently to develop and expand the services offered by the Performance Engineering team within Integral Group, particularly the Building Enclosure Commissioning, Façade Services, Measurement and Verification and Analytics Sectors.
