Vancouver House Wins FIRST PLACE in 2014 Rethinking The Future Awards

Vancouver House was awarded first place at the 2014 Rethinking the Future Awards in the Mixed Use Concept category for its overall neighborhood approach to dealing with a challenging physical space. Nestled next to, and partially under a bridge, the Vancouver House had to innovate a new way to connect to the existing neighborhood. The residential tower sits atop a mixed use podium, which will provide the city with a new public space area and additional retail and commercial space.

Various vantage points throughout the city generate different skyline views, as the residential tower has a unique appearance that changes from every angle. The form of the tower was designed by a thoughtful and specific response to the site, combining an extraordinary architectural form and expression with an extraordinary structural solution. Integral Group is proud to be providing their services to Bjarke Ingels Group and DIALOG on this project.
