Tom Marseille Joins Seattle Design Studio as Managing Principal

Integral Group is proud to welcome Tom Marseille as the Managing Principal of the Seattle design studio. Tom joins Integral Group with a diverse background in delivering creative, award-winning, high-performance, sustainable building solutions. Tom focuses on integrative building systems design with an emphasis on delivering best-in-class building performance outcomes. With years of experience in LEED and Living Building certification and zero net energy building design, Tom emphasizes sustainability on all his projects, fostering solutions that are practical, maintainable, healthy, resilient, resource-responsible, while reducing the client’s total cost of ownership.

Prior to joining Integral Group, Tom held leadership positions with a major global engineering consultancy, including directing the firm’s high-performance design and sustainability practice and leading their Pacific Northwest office. He has directed the building systems design for some of the most unconventional and challenging buildings in North America, including Amazon’s iconic Spheres building, and the award-winning 525,000-square-foot Edith Green Wendell Wyatt Federal Building modernization.

Tom is an author of numerous published papers, a frequent speaker, and currently sits on the AIA Seattle Board of Directors. He was previously a member of the ILFI/Cascadia Board of Directors, the City of Seattle Living Building Technical Advisory Group, and served on the technical committee responsible for development of the first ANSI-accredited Green Building standard.
