Nika Parsa Receives CSE 40 Under 40 Award

Introba (formerly Integral Group) is proud to share that Nika Parsa has been awarded Consulting-Specifying Engineering (CSE)’s 2019 40 Under 40 award.

The 40 Under 40 Award is given to 40 building industry professionals age 40 and younger who stand out in a variety of personal and professional aspects in their lives.

“This year’s 40 Under 40 winners are accomplished and diverse professionals and world-beaters,” said Amara Rozgus, Editor-in-Chief of Consulting-Specifying Engineer. “Now in its 12th year, the program continues to honor the best in the industry.”

About Nika

Nika is a Principal in Introba’s Los Angeles office, where she leads the electrical team. In this role, it is her duty to manage the personnel of the team as well as ensure consistency in quality design from initial drawings through to construction administration. With great energy and dedication, Nika is also the project manager for almost all of the projects she works on, and in this way she has her hand on almost every project that passes through the office. She has served as project manager on dozens of successful projects, including the Robert Redford Conservancy project, which consisted of the renovation of an abandoned 1930s infirmary into a Zero Net Energy and LEED Platinum-targeted education facility.

After her first few years as a consulting electrical engineer, Nika was drawn back to school where she received her graduate degree in teaching math education from University of Southern California. After a short time as a teacher, she realized that what she was truly seeking was an avenue to not only educate and inspire, but also to cultivate change, and so she returned to engineering and joined Introba.

Nika is an active member of the Society of Women Engineers, and she mentors youth in a variety of settings. With a background in education, she frequently collaborates with her mother, who is the director of the Educational Opportunity Programs at CSU Northridge. Outside of work, spending time with her family and her dog Rocky is her first priority. Ever active, hiking is always on her (and Rocky’s) weekend to-do list.
