Engineering News-Record (ENR) MidAtlantic has announced their 2019 Best Project winners. The annual Best Project awards celebrate projects that are innovative in design and functionality and have a positive impact on the industry and their respective communities, along with project teams that were able to successfully overcome challenges.

Longwood University Student Center received the Award of Merit in the Higher Education / Research category. As the epicenter of the campus, the building is aesthetically appealing from all angles, keeping utilities and service ports hidden from view. Displacement ventilation and radiant heating and cooling are among the features that help to make this a state-of-the-art facility, targeting LEED Silver certification. Introba (formerly Integral Group) provided mechanical, electrical, and plumbing design services for the project.

Congratulations to our Skanska, Introba Richmond, and whole project team for this award!
