Introba Promotes New Electrical and Light Studio Leadership in Western Canada

Introba (formerly Integral Group)’s Western Canada electrical and lighting teams are growing, and with that growth comes the emergence of new leadership.  Congratulations to electrical engineers, Associate Principal Bryan Uemoto and Associate Andy Crosson, for their recent promotions. Additionally, Introba Light Studio welcomes Associate Sean Casey to the firm.

Andy, Bryan and Sean have continually demonstrated high-caliber design skills, dedication, and dependability, and Introba is proud to support these three in their new leadership roles.  The team looks forward to working with our community to provide integrated mechanical, electrical, lighting, commissioning, sustainability and sustainable planning services.

About Andy
As an anchor of our Victoria electrical team Andy currently plays a key role in many projects including UVIC Student Health & Wellness Centre, Ministry of Citizens Services, and “smart” home automation systems for private residences in Cowichan Bay and Whistler. As a Registered Communications Distribution Designer (RCDD), Andy has specialized expertise in Building Technology systems allowing him to spread his expertise beyond Victoria. Through his holistic guidance and detailed design experience Andy performs the role of Building Technology Designer internationally across the firm, and brings a complete approach to electrical design making him a valuable asset to his growing team.

About Bryan
Bryan quickly excelled as a team leader, rising to his new position as associate principal title in two years. Working in multi-disciplinary firms has exposed Bryan to a wide range of projects including institutional, residential, commercial, retail and manufacturing facilities. Bryan carries extensive experience in large corporate office, research and teaching facilities design. Project integration is essential to Bryan’s sustainable building design work and management of project cost. He incorporates innovative, sustainable solutions playing a key role in the Three Civic Plaza, City of Surrey Works Yard, CoV Gastown Passive House Childcare Facilities, Sechelt Hospital, Soo Valley Passive House Modular Homes, and YVR Airport projects. Bryan specializes in electrical, communications and technology design, all under the umbrella of deep green sustainability. Bryan nurtures and empowers his team to perform at their highest level, and inspires colleagues to face challenges head-on and approach design problems creatively.

About Sean
Sean previously worked at Introba as a Project Manager and has now returned as an Associate. Trained in Interior Design, Sean has specialized in architectural lighting design since 2012. Sean blends a passion for conceptual design with powerful visualization and graphic skills, along with outstanding construction documentation, detailing, and presentation ability. He just concluded a 3-year stint in New York within which he completed a Master of Fine Arts at Parsons School of Design, with a specialization in lighting and daylighting design. Sean has retained international design experience working in a New York firm with world-class architects, such as Gehry Partners, SHoP, Diller, Scofidio + Renfro and Adjaye Associates, contributing on high-profile projects such as the Youth Orchestra of Los Angeles, the US Embassy in Bangkok and Consulate in Milan, and the Winter Park Library. Sean’s return continues the expansion of Introba’s Light Studio, providing fully integrated architectural lighting and daylighting design.
