ADVANCING ‘NET ZERO’ DEVELOPMENT

THE NATIONAL POLICY OF TARGETING NET ZERO CARBON EMISSIONS BY 2050 MEANS WE NEED TO ACT NOW TO DESIGN AND MANAGE EFFICIENT BUILDINGS WITH REDUCED DEPENDENCY ON FOSSIL FUELS.

This CIBSE event will present perspectives, with speakers from Transport for London, Hoare Lea, Elementa Consulting and Laing O’Rourke, on how we can accelerate the adoption of technologies and techniques to reduce carbon emissions.

This will be a challenge for engineers and other built environment professionals but the climate imperative is becoming increasingly clear.

Proposals will be presented for planning, design, construction and operation with a Q&A session to follow.
