Introba (formerly Integral Group) is excited to announce its membership with The Business Coalition for a Clean Economy (BCCE), an initiative spearheaded by The Pembina Institute.

The BCCE is a Coalition that brings together a network of organizations for the overarching purpose of working towards a Clean Economy future, achieved through climate action. Their advocacy is channeled through forums, public statements and thought leadership, informing British Columbians of the value of clean energy in business and promoting government accountability.

The Coalition is founded on three fundamental goals:

  1. To act as a champion of climate action on government and industry levels
  2. To stimulate engagement between people and government to form effective climate policies; and
  3. To spark inspiration and knowledge-sharing between businesses investing or looking to invest in clean solutions, and sharing this with the public sphere.

BCCE embraces the values of a thriving, resilient economy for all British Columbians, a clean power-driven Province, healthy communities supported by clean air and water, and ultimately a low carbon economy. By fulfilling its visions of growing the clean job sector, making “green” more accessible and affordable, and developing resiliency in communities, the BCCE hopes to attain a clean economy future.

The Pembina Institute has founded the BCCE in partnership with Arc’teryxClimate SmartVancityIBC and Innergex, with forty-two organizational members to date, and counting. The BCCE has received significant public recognition, including a statement by BC Premier John Horgan to reporters expressing his excitement and enthusiasm around the initiative after receiving an open letter from the BCCE.
