Australian Leadership Succession Plan

Integral Group is pleased to announce that Andrew Oxley has been promoted to Regional Director, Operations, Asia Pacific as a part of Integral Group Australia’s business succession strategy for Andrew Mather and Dominic Lai’s retirement at the end of 2021.

Both Andrew and Dominic have made significant contributions to the business and workplace success of Integral Group. They have led impressive decades-long careers as engineers and businessmen, and Integral are indebted to their vision and commitment to Deep Green engineering and propelling us into our current position within the built environment industry.

In the new year, 1 January 2022, Andrew Oxley will become Regional Director, Asia Pacific, and will assume full responsibility for all business operations from that date. He will report directly to CEO & President William Overturf.

Andrew Oxley will be supported by the Australian national leadership team:

  • Patrick Elliott, Senior Principal Major Projects and New Business

  • Ken Loh as Senior Principal, National Business Development

  • David Barker, Senior Principal, National Sustainability Lead

  • Sean Wooster, Principal National ICT Lead

  • John Avramiotis, Principal, National Security Lead

This two-phase succession strategy provides a planned and orderly transition of the Australian business leadership and positions the regional team for future success.

About Andrew Oxley

Andrew Oxley

Andrew has 30 years of experience as a fire safety engineer and fire protection engineer and has held numerous management roles within our organization, culminating in his appointment as the Managing Director, Operations Asia Pacific.

Andrew is responsible for ensuring a smooth flow of business operations as well as playing an active role in all aspects of project designs and constructions. He has overseen the expansion and growth of the Australian practice through sometimes difficult economic periods.

Andrew’s strength has been building respectful relationships and rapport with both staff and clients and credits his most rewarding achievements in helping them achieve their goals.

Patrick is a mechanical engineer with 30 years of experience in the building industry with an established record in leading major multi-disciplinary projects and a particular interest in the integration of Environmentally Sustainable Development (ESD) principles into building design. Using his experience and expertise he supports the growth of the business across Australia.

About Ken Loh

Ken-Loh

Ken is a senior principal and the National Business Development Manager for Australia. With over 35 years in the industry, Ken is responsible for major clients relationships and pursuing opportunities. Ken has developed expertise in leading cross-functional engineering teams and collaborating with other design professionals. He is a qualified and registered electrical engineer with specialist skills in communication/IT services for a wide range of building typologies. His leadership in multidisciplinary teams supports business growth and the firm’s integrated team philosophy.

Ken is known and well connected in the property industry with his involvement with industry bodies including the Property Council of Australia, Green Building Council. He has been instrumental in establishing Integral’s presence in Australia and New Zealand through his interest and passion for business development.

About David Barker

David Barker

David leads Integral Group’s Australian National Sustainability Team and is known for his pragmatic approach to sustainability, providing evidence-based advice that focuses on people, place, and performance. He returned to Australia in 2019 after spending a number of years working in London and has led projects across the globe. David brings with him a wealth of knowledge in cutting-edge analytical tools, sustainable design technologies, and global benchmarks and exemplars.

A particular strength in people-led design comes from years of experience working with high-profile tech sector clients alongside international design firms. His approach to design revolves around early engagement, technical rigor, and compelling storytelling, allowing both collaborators and stakeholders alike to engage with his work. David has served on industry panels including the GBCA Expert Reference Panel for GHG Emissions, the WELL Building Standard’s global Advisory Group for the Light and Thermal Comfort Concepts, and the PCA Sustainable Development Committee.
