Integral Group Projects Win Austin Green Awards
Integral Group is proud to announce that two projects were recognized as recipients of 2021 Austin Green Awards. These awards highlight next generation projects that respond to rapidly evolving environmental, social, and health imperatives with sustainably inspired initiatives. Two of the six projects recognized this year are Integral projects.
The DPR Austin office is the first WELL Certified project in Austin and aims to be one of the first commercial office spaces in the city to earn Zero Net Energy certification. The project was completed in collaboration with DPR and IA Interior Architects; Integral Group submitted the award.
DPR’s regional headquarters at The Foundry is a foundational project for the Austin market and demonstrates net positive energy is possible for commercial office tenants. It was a natural fit for Integral’s Austin office to join DPR at the Foundry and collaboratively deliver this leading office space and is one of the best spaces I’ve worked in. -Bungane Mehlomakulu, Project Principal
Integral Group also provided design services for DPR’s San Francisco office, the first net zero office in the city.
The Holdsworth Center
The Holdsworth Center, designed and submitted by Lake|Flato, is an education leadership development center focused on improving the quality of public schools for Texas students. The campus includes on-site housing, office buildings, main event center, and learning facilities on seven acres overlooking Lake Austin. Integral identified design solutions that are cost-effective, given the relatively low density of the site.
