CleanBC Net-Zero-Ready Challenge Celebration

The Province of British Columbia, in partnership with Integral Group, is hosting the CleanBC Net-Zero-Ready Challenge Celebration on Wednesday, November 27, 2019 at the Vancouver Convention Centre West Building in Vancouver, BC. This celebration marks the successful delivery of the Net Zero Energy Ready Challenge, and the innovative designs displayed by the participating projects and their teams.

Join us for an event that will include:

  • A panel discussion on net-zero energy-ready buildings. The panel will be hosted by Christian Cianfrone from ZEBx and include selected awardees from the CleanBC Net-Zero Energy-Ready Challenge who will talk more in depth about their projects.
  • An open house reception, including design boards showcasing all of the award winning projects and a chance to talk more in depth with awardees about their projects.

The Net-Zero Energy Ready Challenge is a CleanBC funded program administered in its entirety by Integral Group’s Research and Planning Team. The Challenge, launched in October 2018, was an incentive program and juried competition that provided financial incentives and support to high-rise residential, office, retail, commercial, institutional, and other large complex building projects designed to meet a net-zero energy-ready level of performance. Buildings that achieved the top step of the BC Energy Step Code, the highest step of the City of Vancouver’s Zero Emissions Building Plan, and Passive House certification were eligible to apply and receive up to $40,000 in design incentives and up to $390,000 in Net Zero Energy-Ready construction incentives.
