Sustainable Design Charrettes: Sustainability charrettes are our basic process for beginning a design project. We facilitate the collaborative process for the entire design team, using LEED as an organizing framework for energy efficiency and sustainability goals.
LEED Consulting and Documentation: Using LEED as a commonly understood tool, we identify design strategies and technologies that can optimize energy efficiency and water use as well as LEED points. We typically prepare and submit LEED documentation for USGBC certification for all our design projects. We also offer full LEED administration consulting services, where we serve as the LEED administrator on projects.
LEED Measurement and Verification: Our engineers are experts in the preparation and execution of Measurement and Verification Plans and Reports, and can efficiently implement the appropriate M & V methodologies defined in the International Performance Measurement and Verification Protocol. We create a custom Energy Efficiency Measures (EEMs) verification checklist for each project. Each project report includes a summary and ranking of proposed EEM’s and a full description of each measure, including implementation considerations, baselines used for measuring savings; and projected costs and savings. The report also specifies in detail the EEM checklist: what we will be looking for when we perform Post Construction Field Verification of implemented measures.
Commissioning: Our commissioning agents are experts in LEED-related Fundamental Building Systems Commissioning and Enhanced Commissioning. We require all of our projects to be commissioned, and fully integrate commissioning into the design process.
