OpenRoad BMW Langley Recognized for Being Green

The highly sustainable OpenRoad BMW Dealership in Langley, BC received LEED Gold certification late last year. The dealership not only decreases the company’s carbon footprint, but is said to benefit the mindsets and moods of those who step inside.

The design of the building has received tremendous feedback from customers who value the brand’s efforts in thinking for a more sustainable future. Attaining LEED Gold certification has helped to further align the brand as it moves to find more ways to minimize emissions in its vehicles and also in its buildings.

The glass focused design of the dealership aims to minimize electricity use with sensor-equipped lighting that turns on only when people walk by and ample access to natural sunlight.

Integral Group provided mechanical and electrical consulting engineering and energy modeling services for this project, designed by Kasian Architecture Interior Design & Planning.
