CANMET Selected as Finalist for 2014 Innovation in LEED Awards


CANMET Materials Technology Laboratory has been selected as a finalist of the 2014 Innovation in LEED awards program in the New Construction/Core and Shell category. The awards are put on by the Canada Green Building Council (CaGBC) Greater Toronto Chapter. The winners will be announced at the CaGBC Greater Toronto Chapter Gala, taking place on October 16 at the Arcadian Court in Toronto, ON.

CANMET Materials Technology Laboratory (CANMET-MTL) is a division of Natural Resources Canada (NRCan). It is LEED Platinum certified and among the largest research centers in Canada with over 100-person technical staff of scientists and technicians. Designed by Diamond + Schmitt Architects, Integral Group provided mechanical and electrical consulting services for this 145,000 sq. ft. research facility project.
